Jim and Carol Wright purchased the undeveloped property in May 1985 and with their three children set about clearing the property ready to commence planting the vineyard which happened in October 1985.

The family continues to manage and develop the 57 acre property to this day producing around 1200 cases of wine per year depending on the season.

The Wright Family Wines are produced by traditional winemaking methods to create full-bodied wines. We release only selected varietals each season, ensuring that our hand-crafted wines exhibit the full Hunter flavours that our region is famous for.

The Wines have won numerous awards since commencing in 2004 to exhibit the wines in Small Winemakers shows and accolades from noted wine judge & author James Halliday in his Australian Wine Companion Books.
