Based in Springton, South Australia, Godfrey Wines is the realisation of a dream to source small parcels of premium fuit and make limited volumes of wines that represent true regional characteristics.

Sandy Godfrey's wine making career started out learning from some of Australia's most respected and award winning winemakers from David Lowe to Stephen Henschke and was awarded chief wine maker for Tim Adams wines.

Harnessing the rich fruit flavours from the Barossa and the elegant and smooth tannins of the Eden Valley, Sandy produced 'Polished''. The 2006 Shiraz Cabernet is the first release for Godfrey wines, a spectacular wine showing a solid foundation for many years to come.
