Littledale Estates

The Littledale Estates brand originates from our family vineyard located at Rothbury in the Lower Hunter Valley, NSW.

Our goal was to produce wines that clearly displayed the characteristics of the region and also allowed for perfect food matching in fine dining establishments. The greatest care was taken from the delicate nurturing of the vines to hand-picking and bunch selecting fruit to produce such wines. To add the final touches we sourced the best wine maker we could and crossed the paths of Jim Chatto, who today is widely renowned for his winemaking abilities and of course his studying under the great Len Evans. Jim was interested in developing wines that suited the palate of today and with his European experience the aim was to make smoother approachable wines that are non-intrusive and easy to drink, perhaps even a little dangerous!

Even today the grapes for Littledale Estates labelled wines are sourced from selected vineyards, including the original property in Rothbury. Why don’t you be the judge and experience the Littledale Estates range for yourself.
